Merry Monday!
Whew…what a whirlwind of a weekend for us and I’m sure for you as well! I don’t think we stopped going the whole weekend. We had my sister {Cammie} stay with us, my Grandmother’s {AKA: Nanny} 75th birthday party, we hosted a cookout and attended Easter services at multiple locations. I LOVE the hustle and bustle though. It makes life fun!
This was my little girls first Easter so we had to include her into the Easter egg hunt {of course} and like a proud momma I am going to share the pics…
More fascinated by the grass than the egg
Well enough about that and onto the yummy, delicious, ravishing, scrumptious treats. {slightly dramatic?}
I made these quick & easy treats for the birthday party we attended and to my surprise they were a BIG hit!
INGREDIENTS:
-1 tablespoon butter
-1/2 a package of semi-sweet choc. chips
-1 box of 16 Rice Krispie Treats
-1 tube of sprinkles {because everything taste better with sprinkles}
-1 package of popsicle sticks
***{Before you start I would suggest putting all Rice Krispie Treats on the popsicle sticks juuuuust to beĀ prepared}***
Combine the chocolate chips and butter in a mixing bowl. Microwave for 1 minute {microwave in 30 sec intervals and stir so choc does not burn}.
Take the Rice Krispie Treat {on the popsicle stick} and dip about half way into the melted chocolate.
Add the desired amount of sprinkles and stand Rice Krispie upright on a platter. Refrigerate for about 20 mins and…Ta-Da! You’re done! Easy peasy right?!…..and delish!
{Excuse the fact that there might possibly be one missing. I HAD to taste test…. give me a break
}
What other toppings do you think would be tasty instead and/or addition to the sprinkles?

I actually am not a sprinkle fan (yes I’m American) so I would go with some peanut butter (of course) and I wonder what carmel topping or even marshmallow fluff would taste like on it? looks yummy!
I’ll have to try that! It sounds yummy
