Zesty Spinach Dip

It’s Wednesday everyone! The weekend is in sight!

My week has been pretty smooth so far {besides STILL being sick-blah}. My FANTASTIC husband Jake {crossing my finger he reads this –>bonus points for me}, brother-in-law and friend delivered my piano for me! ECSTATIC! I can’t wait to get the ol’ gal tuned up and pull out those dusty music sheets.

Well, the hubs made some killer spinach dip tonight. He is known to make it for any get together or party and many times he has been asked for his recipe. Sooo, with his approval I am going to share the goods.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz package of frozen spinach
  • sour cream
  • 1 package of knorrs vegetable mix
  • sriracha
  • parmesan
  • mayonnaise
  • cream cheese
  • crushed red peppers
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

DIRECTIONS {under 10 mins to make}:

1} Pour spinach into one medium sized mixing bowl and thaw in microwave for 5 minutes. 2} In a separate mixing bowl put 1 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 2 oz cream cheese {while the spinach is thawing} and mix well. 3} Once mixed together, add 1 tablespoon of parmesan, 1 teaspoon of crushed red peppers and the package of Knorrs vegetable mix. Mix well. 4} Lastly, add a squirt of sriracha and a dash of pepper and garlic powder. Mix once more and boom…you’re all done!

We love to serve our spinach dip with Hawaiian bread and/or tortilla chips. The Hawaiian bread tastes the best with it {in my opinion} BUT either way it will be the most wanted appetizer at the party! You hungry for zesty spinach dip yet?! Lets get to gettin’…
