Merry Monday!
I hope everyone’s weekends were fantastic!
Saturday my cousin and I had a “girls getaway” to have a little R&R in our life {thank the good Lord} and it was wonderful! I felt like I was 16 again staying up till nearly 4 am and sleeping in {<–I love those words}. We went shopping, antiquing, thrifting {my heart beat} and to the movies. After going to the movies this weekend I decided it would be different and fun to write about… my top 5 Indie “romance” movies. I mean who doesn’t like an entertaining movie? I enjoy a variety of different movies but Indie films are by far my love. They tend to be from an unusual perspective rather than your typical movie. With their great mix of comedy and romance it just sucks me in.
Well enough jibber-jabber, here they are……..
Top 5 Indie “Romance” Movies {{ in my opinion
}}
1. 500 Days of Summer {my all-time favorite movie on the planet}; 2009
-An offbeat romantic comedy about a woman who doesn’t believe true love exists, and the young man who falls for her. Stars: Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Geoffrey Arend.
-A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she’s banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa. Stars: Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence.

5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; 2004
-A couple undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories when their relationship turns sour, but it is only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with. Stars: Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet and Tom Wilkinson.
{Ah!} It makes me want to curl up on the couch {in my PJ’s} with my man and watch them all over again!
