Good morning!
It’s a bitter cold morning here in central Indiana. I’m cuddled up under a blanket, sippin’ on some nice soothing chocolate milk {kid at heart} and listening to the sounds of nature. I’m madly in love {<–can we say dramatic} with the changing of the seasons!
Recently, I was working on a little “display” outside my front door. I did have chairs sitting out for Summer but I decided to change it up. I wanted people to get a welcoming/inviting vibe when they came to our front door so I chose to do a more “rustic” setting. Typically everyone associates “rustic” with cozy {or at least I do}. So here it is…
I made this little chalkboard from an old pan {that reeeeally needed to be tossed out}. It only took three EASY steps…
1}} Scrubbed it down thoroughly
2}} Put chalkboard paint in the center {leaving the edges to be seen}
3}} Hung it up with burlap! {easy-peasy right?}
I’m that typical dorky housewife that gets PA-thetically excited to decorate for each season/occasion! {lol} I can’t wait to do one in our little garden {more like grave yard for plants}.
Enjoy your day!

Hello! How did you hang that sign on your vinyl? Did you have to drill holes into your vinyl? =[
There was already holes drilled in the vinyl from a sign that was hung previously so I just swapped out. If you don’t prefer to drill holes though there are multiple options at your local hardware store that I’m sure they could inform you of!
