{Homemade} Goo Gone Recipe

Do you ever get sick of not knowing what’s really in your cleaning products? I DO! Especially now that there is a toddler running around and getting into ev-ery-thing! {You momma’s know what’s up!} The more “green” it is, the better. I’ve been in the process of making all of my cleaning products to be more natural and honestly, I like the home-made products umpteen times better than the store bought ones.  I decided to bring on a new product to the home-made cleaning clan… –>Goo Gone. I’ve always been a die-hard fan of store bought Goo Gone but now that I know I can make it at home for next to nothing, you better believe this girl is in! Check out how simple it is…

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Baking Soda
  • 2 parts Vegetable Oil

  1. What a great idea! Consider me a follower!

  2. Thank you so much for this recipe. I haven’t experimented with much to remove residues and have a large part of my bathroom door covered in sticky residue from a past tenant who stuck a large mirror to the back of the door. Not only is this easy, but really cheap compared to goo-gone.

  3. Great idea!! Since I’m allergic to just about every chemical out there, this natural recipe will be a great use around the house. Question: is it safe to be used on clothing and fabrics?

  4. Hi,

Do you think this DIY Goo Gone would be safe to use on a white board? Roughly half the white board in my class room is covered in tape residue. I want the residue gone but, I don’t want to damage the board.

  5. hi i just want to say i love makeing it
