My Top 4 Must-Haves

The other day hubs and I went shopping for a bit and of course he found everything within minutes {and on crazy good sales I might add} while I snooped around for what felt ages just to find one lonely top. I’m finding it’s hard to know what to buy for the near future since the baby bump is already bumpin’. I decided to make a summer must-haves/need/wants list to motivate me to get those core pieces that are stylish but interchangeable! My wardrobe is screaming for help so here’s the list!

1. CHEVRON MAXI DRESS:

I’ve been dying to find the perfect chevron Maxi Dress and I do believe I found it and what’s even better is…IT’S CORAL! ahhh. :-) Everyone needs to run over to hazelandolive.com and buy this ASAP because it’s adorable!

2. MINT SHOES

Mint is the hottest color right now and I have to admit I’m a sucker for it right along with everyone else! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a pair of mint wedges and can’t seem to find any until now! I find it fun mixing colors up and not always “perfectly matching” and these shoes {via beyondtherack.com} would be the perfect asset to add a little flair to an outfit!

3. NEUTRAL HAND BAG

I found a very simple yet fantastic neutral hand bag that I feel like you can throw on with ANYTHING! Of course coach.com can never go wrong in my eyes. Check it out!

4. JEWELRY

Are you in love with the layered bracelets with a watch look?! It’s so stylish and fun! I need to buy more bracelets ASAP!

Prime Vintage

It’s a nice {more like} beautiful Saturday! Lovin’ the weather in the 80′s {feels like summerrrr!}

Over the course of this week we {Hubs & I} have done quite a few projects and I thought I would share …just one {for now}! ;)

About seven months ago I purchased an old vintage stereo. It was not a gem to look at or anything but I saw potential and for $20 well, I just had to buy it! {Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture. It was way before I started my blog. It was all the brown color you see on the front.} Jake & I decided to paint it this coral color but it was… a fail. Neither of us were blown away by the look of it. We attempted to do a second makeover {painted it white and beat up the edges to look “antique-ish”}.Image

We liked it but it was a little simple for us. Onto the third makeover {I know, we are crazy}….

I wanted Chevron on the top to add a little pizazz sooo I measured out the width of how far apart I wanted the Chevron to be and taped that bad boy out!

I kept the furniture white and painted over the tape with black. I let it dry {which seemed to be an eternity long wait} and pulled off the tape.

A couple more things were still in need for the look we desired. I ripped out that fabric covering the speakers and painted it black inside and painted the nobs black for a bold look. Here is the final product….DUN-DUN-DUN….

YES YES YES! I couldn’t be happier! A cheap {and fun} makeover.

***{Excuse our DVD player’s under the furniture. We have to get a shelf installed under our TV to hold them :) }***

Would you ever consider doing a project like this?
